This Privacy Policy explains how Avorynn LLC ("Avorynn," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information in connection with Solara Dating. Solara Dating is a relationship-focused dating platform operated by Avorynn LLC, and this policy applies to your use of the Solara Dating website, mobile apps, verification flows, matching and messaging features, and Solara Plus subscriptions.

1. Information We Collect

When you create and use a Solara Dating account, Avorynn LLC collects information in the following categories:

  • Account details: name or display name, username, email address, phone number, password (hashed), and date of birth used to confirm you are 18 or older
  • Onboarding information: invite code (where applicable), gender, relationship intent, location, preferences, prompts, and other profile content you choose to provide
  • Profile media: photos, voice notes, and any other media you upload to your Solara Dating profile
  • Verification data: selfie images, liveness scans, government-issued ID images, and the results of facial-comparison checks (described further in section 3)
  • Communications: messages, voice notes, and reactions exchanged with other Solara Dating members, and reports or appeals you submit to our trust and safety team
  • Subscription and payment data: Solara Plus subscription status, transaction identifiers, and limited billing metadata returned by the payment provider (Avorynn LLC does not store full card numbers)
  • Device and usage data: IP address, device identifiers, app version, operating system, language, time zone, crash logs, and in-product activity such as matches, swipes, and feature usage
  • Cookies and similar technologies on the Solara Dating website, where applicable

    • 2. How Information Is Used

    Avorynn LLC uses the information described above to operate Solara Dating and to deliver the services Solara Dating advertises. Specifically, we use information to:

  • Create and authenticate your Solara Dating account
  • Confirm that you are at least 18 years old and eligible to use the platform
  • Run verification checks and display Solara verification badges
  • Generate matches and surface profiles consistent with your preferences and stated intent
  • Enable messaging, blocking, and reporting between members
  • Operate trust and safety systems, including catfishing, harassment, and risky-behavior detection
  • Provision Solara Plus features such as boosts and advanced filters
  • Process payments, renewals, refunds, and chargebacks
  • Diagnose bugs, monitor performance, and improve the product
  • Send transactional emails, security notices, and (with your consent where required) product updates
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce these policies

    • 3. Verification Data

    Solara Dating verification is central to the platform's trust model. To support verification, Avorynn LLC may collect and process selfie images, short liveness videos, government-issued ID images, and facial-comparison signals between your selfie and your ID.

    Verification data is used solely to:

  • Confirm that the person using the account matches the photos on the profile
  • Confirm age eligibility
  • Detect duplicate accounts, impersonation, and known bad actors
  • Award or revoke verification badges

    • Verification data may be processed by trusted identity-verification vendors operating on Avorynn LLC's behalf under written data-protection obligations. Raw ID images and biometric templates are not used for advertising, are not sold, and are not shared with other Solara Dating members. Verification artifacts are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal, fraud-prevention, and safety reasons (see section 7).

    4. AI & Safety Systems

    Avorynn LLC uses automated and AI-assisted systems to keep Solara Dating safer, including catfishing detection, harassment and abusive-language detection, fraud and scam signals, spam prevention, and verification assistance.

    These systems may analyze profile content, uploaded media, verification submissions, message content where permitted by law, reports submitted by members, and account behavior. Automated systems can produce false positives, and significant enforcement decisions are reviewed by human moderators on the Solara Dating trust and safety team before action is taken where feasible. You may appeal enforcement decisions by contacting contact@avorynn.com.

    5. Cookies & Analytics

    The Solara Dating website and apps use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure your session, prevent fraud, and measure product performance. Avorynn LLC may use first-party and limited third-party analytics tools to understand which features are used and where users encounter issues.

    You can control cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling cookies may limit some Solara Dating functionality, such as staying signed in across sessions.

    6. Data Sharing

    Avorynn LLC does not sell personal information and does not share Solara Dating personal data with third parties for their own advertising. Information may be shared only with:

  • Identity verification providers used to run selfie, liveness, and ID checks
  • Cloud hosting, storage, and infrastructure providers that operate Solara Dating
  • Payment processors and app-store billing systems that handle Solara Plus subscriptions
  • Analytics, crash-reporting, and customer-support tools used to operate the product
  • Trust and safety vendors that assist with moderation, fraud detection, and abuse prevention
  • Legal, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect members, the public, or Avorynn LLC

    • All vendors acting on Avorynn LLC's behalf are required to handle Solara Dating personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection obligations and use it only for the purposes described above.

    7. Data Retention

    Avorynn LLC retains Solara Dating personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service and for the legitimate purposes described in this policy. Typical retention practice:

  • Active account data is retained while your Solara Dating account is open
  • Messages remain accessible to participants while accounts are active
  • Verification artifacts (selfies, ID images, comparison results) are retained for the period required to operate verification, prevent re-creation of banned accounts, and meet legal obligations
  • Payment and subscription records are retained as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law
  • Records relating to bans, fraud, safety reports, or legal holds may be retained for longer to prevent repeat abuse and to defend legal claims

    • When data is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymized, or aggregated.

    8. Account Deletion Requests

    You may delete your Solara Dating account at any time from in-app settings or by emailing contact@avorynn.com from the address associated with your account.

    When a deletion request is processed, your profile is removed from match and discovery surfaces, your photos and prompts are deleted from active systems, and your account is closed. Limited information may be retained to prevent banned users from returning, to comply with legal obligations, to support fraud and safety investigations, and to honor financial record-keeping requirements.

    Deleting your Solara Dating account does not cancel an active Solara Plus subscription — subscriptions must be cancelled through the payment provider used to purchase them (for example, Apple App Store, Google Play, or the web payment processor).

    9. Security Measures

    Avorynn LLC protects Solara Dating data using administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encryption of data in transit, restricted internal access, hashed passwords, access logging, vendor due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of safety and fraud systems.

    No online service can be completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, safeguarding your login credentials, keeping your device secure, and reporting any suspicious activity on your Solara Dating account to contact@avorynn.com.
